Our editing software: We will use templates within I-Movie to create our commercials.

Today you are limited to the 3 theme choices below but in your spare time explore all the themes within I-Movie and imagine the possibilities.

View the side-by-side so that you can get a gist of what the template looks like compared to the completed project.

Select only one of the themes then download the shotlist and scene cards that correspond to that theme.

Watch each template video below, then decide which template you would like to use.

BECOME YOUR DREAM

Artist: James De La Vega

When I first saw that sidewalk chalk work in New York City I was struck.  It went deep into my psyche and I don't know why.  I stopped on a dime, pulled out my cell phone, and snapped that picture.  At the time it seemed like a simple kind gesture from a happy person mimicking a saying that you get in a fortune cookie.  I mean, it was just chalk on a sidewalk afterall.  I had no idea that it was an actual extension of an artist work.  I subsequently discovered that De La Vega had more tones than that particular piece of art that I saw seemingly aloof on a Manhattan street that day.

We can be creators of our own art.  And we can start RIGHT NOW.  The only person whose permission you need is your own.

Give yourself permission to create the life you choose to live.  Become your dream!

We Became!

We had an extraordinary learning day.  Georgia and I were greeted by some of the most enthusiastic kids we have ever met.  We laid out the game plan and hit the ground running.  Once they finished creating their content the kiddos took the time to write thank you letters to myself and producer Georgia Tavera.  I could not be more grateful for the opportunity to add a little bit of information to the art world tapestry.  Thank you Dr. Blanchette and the Mesa Arts Academy for being a part of my dream.  Thank you kiddos for the tremendous letters and good luck to you as you continue to become your dream.
